Make sure you get good sleep at night so it isn't hindered by you being tired during the day.

Every time you feel really sleepy take yourself away from the desk for a few minutes and walk around. Walk to get a cup of water or to the toilet or something (I know people who go and have a 5 min powernap in the loo!).

If you're able to choose what order you do things in, try and do the repetitive stuff in the morning and leave the more interesting stuff til the afternoon so that you are more mentally stimulated by it etc..

Other than that, stimulants such as coffee, tea and chocolate may help.

DITTO !! Happens to me as well, sitting at a desk infront of a computer screen!

Best advice, intermittently, go for a walk, goto the kitchen for a drink of tea/coffee, try and stay as active as possible.

To be honest, getting a good night sleep helps alot, a good 7 hours and getting to bed by 12 !

I do find that a can of Redbull or V really helps with a chocolate bar, definately gives you more mental energy and enough to keep you going for a while!!

Sometimes I dont feel like i can work well first thing in the morning without a can of RedBull for breakfast! lol

Also THANK GOD for Yahoo Answers!
It is an entertaining change from work, so popping onto this site now and again during the day increases your motivation! ;)

try not to eat a big lunch, and when you do eat, mix with a lot of proteins instead of a lot of carbs. Also, try to take a walk for a few minutes, 10-15 at least if you can to wake you up after lunch or before.

First of all get a good nights sleep, there is
some things you can buy called Pro-plus, but
don't take them after the middle of the afternoon or you won't sleep at night,
hope it helps.

Dont drink booze or eat too many carbs or sniff some coke, you'll be flying round doing everyone's job for them.
