The biggest lie ever ?? As in relations to the world ?? I would have to go with religion and politics. Both go forward hand in hand. Why is it that here in the United States that all of our elected leaders are required to swear into office with a hand on a bible ??? Somewhere in the Constitution I thought there was a seperation of Church and State ??? A bible is a holy book for the christian faith. What if they aren't a christian ?? If they still swear in then were they standing up for their beliefs??? If not then why were they elected for in the first place ??

Religion - All of the religions all state that a person has to follow a set of rules in order to go into heaven. Yet there have been how many wars and murders all in the name of religion ??? How is it ok to kill in the name of God and yet for any other reason not be ok ??? Killing is still killing. For God or not it still causes a death. During the American Civil War - God was fighting for both the Confederacy and the Yankees. Both worshiped the same God. Both were convinced that God was on their side. Yet the Yankees won. Hmmm The Yankees must have prayed harder ??
How is it that the Koran preaches peace yet look at how many have gone forward and killed innocent men, women and children all in the name of Allah ?? Again Same God... There is but one God and he is Allah.... Hmmm

LEts have another election and vote for a single God and limit their term to 4 years.

In my opinion, there are two lies that are equally big, and equally as dangerous.
One is religion. I'm not saying religion as a whole, but the way religion has been used. Religion has been twisted by some very sick individuals to meet their own perverted needs (the Holocaust is one example).
The second is politics. Politicians claim that they care for the public, they are working for the public interested and the rest of it, when in reality, the majority of them are nothing but scam artists trying to line their (or their friends/families) pockets. It's not even a hidden phenomina anymore.

Don't trust adults - I saw him when he was a kid and then all these grown ups started telling me he didn't exist. I stopped staying up to catch a glimpse of the fat bearded man in red and started going down the pub on Christmas Eve instead then last year, whilst cycling home after a skinful in my local I was knocked off my bike by that sweaty, obese Laplander. I dislocated my hip and Rudolph's hoof ruptured my spleen. Of course when I explained this to the police who discovered me in a ditch at 6am on Christmas morning they just laughed at me. It's a disgrace. Father Christmas does exist and I think it's about time we all made a concerted effort to shed this denial and acknowledge his existence once again.
