I gotta go with the Chargers as long as they leave Tomlinson in the driver's seat. He is the key to them winning it all!

I see the Chargers going to the Super Bowl this year. They'll have some tough games in the playoffs but they are the AFC team to beat. If they face Chicago in the SB, the Chargers should win. But I dont think the Bears have what it takes to go all the way.

Yeah that Baltimore loss was definitely do to conservative play. If that game would happen at the teams current state it wouldn't even be close. If the Chargers get homefield they will get to the Super Bowl and probably face the Bears. The Bears are unbelievably inconsistent and have had near losses to some pretty bad teams. I don't see the Bears offense being able to produce anything especially since the Chargers shut down the KC O'line... one of the best in the league.

If anyone has been looking at the playoff possiblilties for matchups you will notice that in a very easy way we could be talking about them possibly having to face the colts.
So the question I think we need to ask ourselves is who has been playing for real.
Monday baltimore possibly gave up their playoff position, the giants now have an ouside chance they wont make it. The steelers are looking shaky..and people are even wondering if the Colts will hold up when the playoffs start.
So, the real question is, who is going to show up to play the chargers.
My bet is that if the Chargers do meet the Colts and Manning shows up to play the way he did monday...the chargers better get their secondary working right now...or its gonna be a rough game.

It would be a huge disappointment if they didn't at least make it to the AFC final. They will have a 1st round bye, but so will either Indy or Baltimore. If they play Indy in the AFC final, they will win (no matter who is the home team). If they play Baltimore, the home team wins.
The AFC winner should beat the NFC winner, even if it is the Bears.

They should get home field through out. I 'm a Rams fan and hope the Chargers win it all. They have the look of the Rams when they won it all. I was thrilled and hope you get to see it with your team. If any team beats them they will have to stop LT and you know that isn't going to happen. Go Chargers.

Sure the Chargers CAN beat Baltimore but come crunch time will they? I don't think so. Baltimore and New England are both teams I think could beat SD, even on the road.

Actually you have to look at history. When Marty gets his teams to the playoffs, they totally change their gameplan. He get too conservative and they lose. I will agree with you and say they are the best team in the NFL right now, but Marty will screw it up. I like Indy to go to the Superbowl. One thing I am afraid of is that if the Steelers win out and some how make it, they will be trouble for every one.

You are totally right, people say that because Ravens won by a field goal they can beat the chargers, which is not true, back then Chargers where in Martyball mode, next time, things will be a lot different.
GO CHARGERS!!!!!

If they stay away from Marty Ball in the playoffs, they can beat anyone. Hopefully, this will be the case. After the Baltimore loss, the offense opened up and Marty Ball hasn't been seen since.

The team is full of talented players. They have the capability of going to and winning the SB.They will do well even with a 1st year starter at QB (Rivers). Martyball is over and of course we wlil give it to LT a lot. But Marty has changed his gameplan into a more agressive one. He's given more tries for Rivers with deep balls which you probably wouldn't see a year ago or so. As long as my Bolts keep this gameplan and aggressive calls, we are headed to the SB!
