anyone else have trouble leaving the house sometimes and going out after being inside for a long time? i sometimes spend long periods of time in my apartment, sitting in front of the computer or tv. when i finally go out i get really nervous and self-conscious for some reason to the point where its hard to walk normally for some reason. but this only occurs after ive stayed inside for over 24 hours or if i havent gone to too many places in a while. theres a store right across the street that i can walk to, no big deal, but when i go to farther places then its a problem, and this nervousness only lasts a few hours, after that im fine. strange. anyone know anything about this?

I kind've have this problem, it's not that I have a problem leaving or anything like that, or talking to people. I just have a major problem with dealing with people, I can read people all too easily, and I think it's the repulsiveness I feel or the fact that my perceptions about those people shine through. It ends up making me not like those certain people. It's not that I'm shy at all, I'm just very hard to get to know, it's almost like people bore me to death, unless they're just like me.

I normally stay far away from social situations involving people I've met and know right away they're just plain corny, or someone I know I won't like or get along with. Makes it kind've hard to keep friends but it's nothing I can control. Could also be that I don't want to control it, who knows.

i think of that is only elementary manners to attempt to income the language of the country you're staying in. in spite of the actuality that i won't be in a position to be staying in Egypt the place my husband comes from, i'm gaining expertise of Arabic as i pass available plenty and prefer speaking the locals language. what number immigrants right here have come and not even stricken to income the language, so we could pay to have interpreters in faculties, and in artwork places. easily it could save money to have English training for them. in case you will artwork in this usa you could no longer obtain a activity except you could communicate the language. I artwork as a nurse in a dementia unit. close by there's a nursing domicile, the place they have employed some Polish females. They communicate very elementary English, and the the sufferers get puzzled because of the fact they are in a position to't understand them. My chum works there and tells me the Polish carers lose endurance with those elderly sufferers because of the fact they are in a position to't understand their broken English. Now i'm sorry however the desires of our elderly are paramount and the residences could only hire complete English speaking human beings. i'm British and each so often i won't be in a position to appreciate my sufferers while they start to slur their speech, so how is somebody who won't be in a position to talk the language appropriate meant to? you would be very affected person with those wonderful previous human beings. returned, political correctness putting the elderly on the backside of the checklist.

Please check with your doctor about this. I have sysmptoms like this and they relate to depression. If I didn't have to go to work every day, I would become agoraphobic. Agoraphobia is a somewhat common pychological problem which keeps one fearful of leaving the house. It sounds like you are in the early stages. So if you get a good diagnosis and treatment, you should be fine.

I would seek professional help for your agorophobia, it is nothing to be ashamed of.

I am a bit shy in public situations, and of meeting new people, so I can sort of understand where you are coming from...
