if sex is the only thing that is holding a relationship together then it is doomed...yes I think we do because there may come a time when your mate may become incapacitated for one reason or other and would you still stick by them if they were? That makes all the difference...Friendship first and foremost is important in my opinion...the other stuff follows...

No, we attach the wrong kind of importance. Along with survival, sex is a basic instinct. But it's in the limelight mostly for social reasons...

I think some of us do! Because back in the olden days people only came together when they found the need to extend the family.....now it happens just for the "deeper meaning of a relationship" thing. After all, what is the meaning of a deeper meaning of a relationship???

Possibly the way people get brought up, and the fact that a tv programme is not a tv programme unless there is the gratuitous (sp) use of sex. TO answer your question, yes I think we do.

Most people don't attach enough importance to it. Sex is supposed to be between two people who love each other, not random oversexed strangers.

No, in fact I think we should pay more attention to it. More time should be allocated to the pursuit of sex and less time to hiding the subject away. It is, after all, a perfectly healthy pursuit and thoroughly enjoyable, as long as its between consenting adults etc..
Everyone agree?????

I think it can be made too important in a relationship, there sre many other aspects which get overlooked, because too much emphasis on sex.

On the contrary we dont. Sex is special. I think it shouldnt be treted as anything meaningless. It should be shared and enjoyed by two people who have the utmost love for each other.
