Why is the Democratic Party not concerned about our soldiers in Iraq, who obviously cannot leave Iraq at this tiime? Why is the Democratic Party blind to the fact that their criticism of the Bush Administration is detrimental to the security of the U.S.A.? Does the Democratic Party have no awareness of the GREAT THREAT facing us if we walk away from Iraq and all the terrorists who have congregated there?

Don't look at me I didn't vote for them. They don't care and are rich fat cats...They are not the Democratice Party of the past and want to regulate what you eat, whether you smoke or not invade your privacy...Wait a minute. Isn't that what the Russians did?

My American Legion Post believes in Freedom of Speech and has a picture of Jane Fonda in the toilets...Maybe we should print up others toilet friendly pics to put in other toilets and "voice" our opinoins there, that's about all it's worth anymore!

Whats killing our troops is the war, not the democrats! Its Mr. Bush's war, Iraq had no wmds, was not involved in 911, and its giving inspiration to every American hating pizza hit table cloth wearing terrorist to attack us. Bush's business partners the Saudi's were the attackers who highjacked the planes, Bin Laden is finacnced by his Saudi family's construction company, and the Saudi's want conrtol of Iraqi oil! They even stated if we withdarw they will move in, fine let them. Bush's approval rating is below 30%, the war approval is below 25%, so maybe wake up and look at reality, or enlist and go do the war thing, as Bush said we need more troops! If youre too old send your sons and daughteres, come on now!

I think they are trying to point out there is a fundmental problem with the strategy and it does not warrant staying there with the present approach. Face it, around 20% or so of Iraqis are sympathetic with radical Islam, so terrorism makes sense to them. As John Kerry recently said their problem is motivation; there are just not fierce about opposing terrorism. Most are but not 90% and that is what we need to win. I used to favor the war until the arrogance of our approach struck me. We did not consider this reality before attacking, that a significant number of Iraqis do not share our vision of democracy. I am embarrased we attacked and think we can win. And that is what the Democrats are trying to are trying to point out. I just don't understand why our leaders can't see this. Of course the Democrats are concerned about our soldiers, as I am. But the solution is to change course. I would take a different position from the Democrats, however. I don't find their position to run away helpful. We need to win the hearts of the Iraqis and help them overcome poverty. We are not addressing that by better rebuilding their infrastructure and economy. And this hurts because we are most skilled in the world on how to implement capitalism that offers huge opportunity and reason for poor young men who favor terror to turn toward entrepreneurship. I will continue to pray for peace and protection of the innocent there and side more with the Democrats on this one. I used to be a Republican.

Not concerned? We didn't want them there to begin with and now we want to bring them home. We have made more enemies now for invading a country that did not having anything to do with 9/11 while we let Osama walk free. Bush is an EMPLOYEE of the people, he is supposed to do what we want, instead he is only looking out for his interests and those of his buddies. He is responsible for the deaths of how many innocent people? And we are not to criticize him. HA!

Yes you are right. What were we thinking. Blind allegiance and loyalty without questioning is a much better way to operate.
Why do people have to intertwine the security of America with the evils of dissent so that if one disagrees they are made to feel by some that they dont love their country and want it to succeed?
How long should we stay in Iraq? Another five years, ten, twenty, thirty? How long is too long?

Are the republicans not aware of the fact that it wouldnt even be a situation like this if we wouldnt have invaded and occupied them to begin with?
They had nothing to do with 9/11 and the non existant wmd was only one of the ever changing reasons for going there.

You need to spend a day or two away from talk radio.

The Democratic party's leadership in Congress has voiced support for the troops by agreeing to a $160 billion appropriation for the Iraqi war.

Once again that word is "support."
