Move it out aways by pulling it out from side to side; just alittle at a time. Unplug it from the electrical outlet. Then turn off the hot and cold water valves. Undo the hot and cold water hoses from the valves. Either tie them up somehow or if long enough put the ends in the washer under the lid. Then take the big drain hose out of the drain pipe. You might want to get a pan to lay the drain hose in, incase it may still have some water in it that would other wise go on the floor. Tie it up somehow also.

well, first things first... make sure that you turn off the water. Then unplug it from the electrical socket. Then remove any tubes that handles the water flow. Since they can be quite heavy, you may want to but those "moving sliders" under each corner of the machine to prevent damage to your floors

ps. it may be a good idea to turn off the break for the electrical socket. always better to be safe than sorry

Shut off both water faucets tightly. Unscrew your hoses from the faucets. Unplug. Pull the drain hose from the drain and hook it on the edge of the washer tub.

You are now ready.

"disconnect" as in "what" unscrew the fittings for the water after turning them off, and unplugging it. There's nothing else.
