I had for the last few years found some of my long lost friends who has passed on in the orbituary of the newspaper. What do u do?

I was reading my old hometown newspaper last year and saw the obit of a woman who had been a classmate of mine from 1st grade through 12th grade. It was very sad. She had a hard life, due to illness, even when we were children.
If you were close to that person's family, send them a sympathy card and write your favorite memory of that person so they can enjoy it too.

Pay your respects. Recently I had a man who was like a second father to me after my own father died from cancer. The man passed away in a car crash. Even though I hadn't seen his family (their son was a friend since birth) socially in about 4 years I still went to the funeral and still tried to offer my help. From a POV from both sides at least go to the funeral if there is still time and anything after that whatever you feel comfortable with. And ALWAYS followup on your promises, so be sure to make promises you can keep.

I would try and offer condolences to the family and live life to the max because you never know whats going to happen tomorrow.

I would have gone to my friend's house and pay my condolence to his/her parents or perhaps visit his/her grave and pay my tribute.

often i will reflect on the good times we had and look to sky and say a prayer and say my friend soar!!!
