Happiness in its absolute sense, that is a completely tranquil state for ever, is only a concept and not attainable in real life.

However, we can maximise such state by minimising what disturbs it. We should make a small beginning by identifying what disturbs our mind and try and discard the same. Starting with small small things , we would gradually begin to see the truth.... that it is actually our self pride and selfish desires which are at the root of all the disturbance to peace of mind and tranquil state of happiness. Until we realise how small and minuscule we are compared to the vast and varied universe of which we are but a particle, it is not possible to rein in the haughty self of ours which is the real enemy of our happiness.

So, that is my recipe.... wish you all the best in your quest for happiness!

The ones who have lulled or desensitised their five organs of senses, eye, nose , ear, mouth and skin, know the receipe of happiness. The average persons like me think the other way. We think that the very presence of these sensual feelings ... touch , smell, hear , smell and taste.... are for happiness. "Aah! a nice cup of coffee is what I like and that gives me happiness" I say. But if that would be the case I should be having coffee all the time and all over the place. But that is not so. I "hate" the thord cup!!!!

So is the case with the Sex, the Pizzas , the Mantovanis, the perfumes.

I suspect the question that you are asking is more related to what the recipe of happiness can be for individuals, and not who the recipe of happiness is possessed by or that such a broad concept as intellectual property can be happiness as if words could simply calculate the way numbers on Abacus do you must consider that those words are only symbols much like the numbers in an equation. From that perspective I'll say that without real knowledge as to what changes will occur in the future a recipe for happiness would very likely contain some of or all of these ideas which are taken from and named path: right mindfulness, right concentration, right effort, right livelihood, right action, right speech, right intention, right view.

It is my opinion that because there has not been a person with a high level of quantity of education in the field of psychology that has written a book or audio book which describes the recipe of happiness that none of them ever will or ever have known it.

Yes...take pinch of confidence, reduce away all the things other people think and say, boil for the first 30 years, then cool down to an even comfortable temperature. Make sure the mold is unique and know that the final result is tasty and delicious no matter what the rest of the world might think.

I do........

Quite simple really, work out what you love doing and do lots of it. Then work out what you despise doing and DONT DO IT.......:) No really, you need to pay attention to your own well being and sanity preferably before trying to please others......If it were only that simple........sometimes it is. Proper nutrition, fresh air, sunshine and the all important play time play a big part in the happiness factor. Remember when you were a little kid and just loved racing around the streets with the other kids on your bike?? Or playing "Twister" with the other kids?? Or hide and seek?? Those games used to make us really wildly happy because it was pure excitement, adrenalin rush, brainless fun fun fun. Maybe that's it!!! Have fun as much as you can. Good clean fun. Learn how to play games and have fun again. :)

Awaking to the unity with God in unconditional love within your heart. Negativity flees from unconditional love as darkness flees from light.

Happiness is like a visitor, you can't make it to happen, but you make sure you noticed it when it does. It is an attitude not a condition.
