Right click on your desktop, go to "new", then at the bottom it should say "compressed folder". This is with windows xp. You can also do this with other zip programs such as WinRar, WinAce and WinZip.

Well! you can follow the following steps if you are using windows as an operating system:-
1.)Right-Click on an empty part of screen in the folder in which you want to create the zip folder?
2.)a drop-down list will appear.select new
3.)a submenu will appear.select compressed(zipped) folder
4.)in this zip folder, you can paste cut or copied files as reqired.

most of the zipping software like: winzip, winrar will give you "Create Zip File" option on the right click menu.

select the files you want to zip, or put all the files you want to zip into a folder, right click on them, and select "create a zip file" and off you go!

try send to.. zipped folder??? or try to make a new zipped folder

you need to download a free trial of winzip.
just do a search for winzip and you should be able to find it.
you get a 40 day free trial but after about 60 days it comes back on again so you can keep using it.

right click nad go new and it should be near the bottom and there isn't much point because they don't shrink the file all that much?!?
