i mean really really can`t stand them... they make me twitch and feel like vomitting! tone of their voice - everything. i know that i should rise above it, and logically take the stance that everyone`s different and that`s what makes the world a great place.... but there is no logic in this. even though i avoid, there are many occasions where our paths cross and they always talk to me - now honestly, never mind bite my lip, i have to walk away.
now, do i tell this person that they do this to me, and why? or do i continue to stress myself out over it? anyone been there? any solutions? (i`m trying to avoid the violent - hence the question!).
no religious answers please, i`m interested in morals not religion!

No, I don't think you should. It sounds like this person means you no harm, so your antipathy to them is probably an emotional one that says as much about you as it does about them. I have been there too, with people that just rubbed me the wrong way, but as long as I can remember that this is my own reaction, and not their fault, I can live with it, and then later I am glad that I did.

OK, first of all why should you? What do you stand to gain from this - you will seriously upset the other person and probably start a war that is against your best interests? It's possible that there are many people in the world who can't stand you but who have the manners to tolerate your presence and say nothing. I think it is all about manners, really - unless there is a genuine reason why this person makes you heave, then say nothing and just don't be around them or limit the times you have to be. If you said something then who knows what may happen - you might get a few home truths back (and they can HURT!) or this person might start a grudge fight and you'd come out worse. Keep your distance as much as you can, and hold your tongue.

Um u want to tell someone just before Christmas that u just cant stand them !?
U might really ruin someones Xmas by doing this or even yours by causing trouble just hold out and wait. I'd leave it til the festive season is over and then try and sort something out .....

Dont tell them because that is just rude and you will hurt their feelings. Try not to be so mean! I think you arent a very nice person. Maybe a lot of people dont like you either.

You have to try and get you mind on other things when you are around them. I'm sure you are one of them people that think about bad stuff and let it spiral out of control in your mind, I say that because most people are like that.

When you get them familiar feelings of intense dislike try to go outside and ground yourself with thoughts of more important or more beautiful things...this usually works for me.

Tell them in whatever form you feel appropriate....forget the ideals of a politically correct approach....be passionate. If they couldn't stand you it's more than likely that they'd do exactly what spurred them on to in someway shape or form make you aware of it. Violence isn't always the answer..but my view is that people are free to express themselves as they please....thus....be yourself.

what are you going to achieve by telling them? will it mean that you won't have to come across the person again? What if you do tell them, really upset them, then have to deal with them on a frequent basis?
Maybe it's best just to get over it.

Just try and ignore them. If your paths cross try not to speak to them.

Although you might find that as time goes on you come to like the person and you might even become friends!!!
