I don't exactly know what you want to do, but hijackthis is usually used when you want to see which processes are running and then eliminate the ones that you feel are unnecessary or harmful. Click on the scan option to see what is running, then, after you have found out which programs are harmful by using a program like ad-aware (unless you already know which process or program you need to get rid of), you just click on the boxes of the ones you don't need and then click on the fix button. This should eliminate the processes you clicked on and stop them from running automatically again.

It's important you don't remove anything that is necessary for your computer to run, like explorer, for example. You should know what you want to remove before you remove it. Virus scanners and junk scanners (like ad-aware) are good to have to figure out malicious programs. I hope that helps, good luck.

If the forum allows you to send the log, then you can send it to me and I'll have a look at it, or just upload the log to either of these sites:

1. http://www.rafb.net/paste/
then at the bottom left corner click "paste"
Copy the address/url and post it here.

2. or at --> http://www.hijackthis.de/
and click "Analyse", click "Save". Then post the link to the saved list here.

HiJack is dangerous if you do not know how to use it. You will delete something important and screw up your computer. It sounds as if you are not familiar with computers so do not use it.
