what tests do i need to do?

i wish to obtain my medical degree over here, in the uk before going to america to practice medicine. i have heard i have to take a some sort of test which will allow me to practice western medicine anywhere in the us. can anyone givve me any advice on the type of test i need to take. also work permits and visa information is allso appreciated.

You will need to take the USMLE exams (US Medical Licensing Exams). Check out the AMA (American Medical Association) website for more information.

if you learn spanish it will help a lot......
