I'm a Shift Supervisor at a Manufacturing Plant. We make inter layer that goes between your windshield to keep you safe. I make over 65K. Very stressful though. You have to deal with everyone moods, and stay professional doing it. People yell and complain all the time not being grateful that they have a high paying job and not really working that hard in a clean environment. I still like it though.

I teach English as a second language in China. I love my job. I work four days a week from 7:50-1:10 and one day from 7:50 until 5:40. I don't get paid much by American standards, but it's decent by Chinese standards. My school gives me an apartment (no roommate), pays the utiities, provides 3 meals a day, provides transportation to work, gives 2 travel bonuses per year, a pay raise each time you renew your contract, and an uncapped roundtrip plane ticket to my home country every year. Oh...I also get paid for spring festival and summer holiday even though I don't work then and I don't have to stay in the country either. I had 4 1/2 months of paid time off last year which I used to visit my folks stateside, go to Korea...twice, and see Xi'an, Shanghai, and Beijing. This next year I have plans to visit Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and, maybe, Korea again.

Right now, I work in the Tax department of a brokerage house. I don't like it very much but I make excellent money. Eventually, I'd like to get my CS degree and work in Software Development and make even more money.

I make more than the wal-mart greeter and less than a college kid than has a software job.

I own businesses, and do quite well.

I always recommend the four step "getting rich in America 101" plan:
1. Start a business
2. Grow it
3. Sell it
4. Repeat

Simple, and it works every time!

I work in high end retail. Most of the time I like it but being retail it does have its moments. I don't make nearly enough to have to deal with the public.
