Melamine (an attractive plastic) is not easily breakable. Correll by Corning will break but not at all easily. I have had a set for 25 years and have only broken one piece.

I don't know where you are but, K mart, Walmart, most any department store.

Happy Holidays.
Good Luck.

My mother went to Rite Aid and bought a whole stack of plastic plates that I am certain will never break. I don't know why having these things will do any good, since they're ugly and sort of cheapen the meal with their tacky feel. You are asking for unbreakable, though.
