NO----You would never get away with it.The reindeers would never allow an imposter to drive the sleigh on Christmas Eve.But thanks for the offer.One day there may be a need for help, but not this year......Merry Christmas....

You have to be asked by the previous Santa to become the next Santa. I don't see it happening.

Not if you can't be a "right jolly old elf", lay your finger aside your nose and up the chimmney you go, talk to the sleigh team, fit in
the red suit, and you must always be nice to the elves.
