3 months isn't that long a time to get to know a person well enough for a real special gift, so keep it simple with his interests in mind, and not too expensive, unless of course you're loaded. Maybe some aftershave or a sweater you'd think he'd look nice in ... slippers ... hmmmm.

If you've seen his place, try to think of what he's missing that you'd consider within your budget.

3 months is a quarter of a year, so spend about a quarter of what you'd spend on someone you've known a year or more.

Three months? Either a gift card for music, if he's a tunes guy, or to a bookstore, if he's a book guy, or to the auto parts store if he's a car guy. Enjoy!

If he's into sports, get him tickets to his favorite team's game. A gift card to his favorite store. Maybe a special ornament.
