Most of them know alot, coz they were raised in an Islamic culture, and also they were educated in Islamic schools.
In my opinion, i consider Egyptians the most religious ppl in the middle east. Also, if u have Read the Qura'an u'll find that Egypt was mentioned in it more than 3 times.
Another thing is; Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) honored Egyptians first by marrying a christian, and second by advising his friends to take Egyptian men for military service as they are the best soldiers on earth.
But I'm wondering why do u keep asking questions that somehow humiliate Egyptians? what do u have agingst Egypt, and Egyptians?

To say Egyptians are the most religious within Islam is an utterly ridiculous statement. Every person is different, no need for sweeping generalizations.

Of course this is no question ! but because I want u to know this, Al-Azhar is the oldest, and of course the first, Islamic-college to teach Islam officially, meaning the graduate takes an official certificate indicating his study in Al-Azhar and making him an Islamic scholar internationally. Al-Azhar was built 925 A.D. !

Many of them only know what they were brought up to (even if it's not really part of Islam). Some of them are knowledgeable about the religion, some no NOTHING.

They & others all over the world know nothing but what they got from history which got effected & infected with so many things that led astray the religion, Islam is beautiful but corrupted with so many things & people. You need to focus a bit ,

I think in Egypt you can find all kinds of people
Muslims who are very religion
and others who r not
bad people
and good ones
Christians,Jews
and that's why they call it " umu dunia"
