World peace isn't about the world being at peace; world peace can only come about when each individual is listening to the singular voice in their head and following it.
What is peaceful for you may not be peaceful for me. What is relaxing for a person in Paraguay may be totally abhorant to someone in Helsinki.
It is not that the world isn't at peace, it is that when the peace and happiness of one comes into contact with the peace and happiness of another, sometimes there is conflict because both feel that the other is a threat to their peace.
Doing one's best to not be a threat to another's peace, and following the bliss of one's own path, is what happiness is based upon. It is what allows peace to be uncovered, like a painting cleansed of it's dust and grim, not to come about as if from a far-away place. Or, put another way "The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand..."

When the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus are proven to be real, maybe, just maybe, world peace will be a consideration. War has been with mankind since mankind has existed. There will be no world peace. Ever. We can only hope to keep wars to a minimum but someone will always find a reason for war.

The only time when there will be world peace is when the Prince of Peace returns, destroys this present universe, and creates a New Heaven and earth wherein those who have been redeemed by the Lord will dwell forever. The "rapture" will occur on May 21st 2011 and this present world will be end on October 21st 2011,

Your nicely prepared food is nowadays cooked in modern ustensils coming for materials developped intially by the war industry. While I do not advocate it, the war industry has been in place since the dawn of recorded history. Hard to give it up, humans on the collective level do not really know how to make a living otherwise.

The real question would be,.. what would the cost of this world peace be?
One person said hitlor wouldn't wnt peace,... thats BS,. he sure did,.. he wanted a piece of this country,. and another piece of that one,.. :D
jk,.. but seriuosly,. once he took over there would be peace right? I mean,. the goal was never to fight for ever,. it was to take over evertything..
so,. that leads me to the real quetion of,. what would we have to pay for this peace? Because the reality is,. the price might be just too high....
