I really don`t understand the patronising embrace of Connie Fisher as a star of tomorrow. There are lots of actresses who don`t get the breaks...who are thought too eccentric or idiosyncratic...and barely eke out a living when they should be doing more.
Connie Fisher is NOT one of them.
So why the hype?????????????

Probably because the British public followed her journey from the beginning of the search for a 'Maria' - + she managed in the last few episodes to ask her Gran to say a few kind words!
I'm sure it'll die out soon.
Her voice isn't half bad.

British always back the underdog but give her her due she isn't THAT bad, crikey you see much worse getting through the heats in X Factor etc.
