I would unite the people of India.A nation of 1 billion people must think like a nation of 1 billion people.I would tell everyone to unite.I would tell them to become friends no matter what religion they are and what part of India they are from.As long as this diversity stays and becomes a problem India will never be a superpower.I would make sure the caste system is abolished and anybody treating someone by the caste system will be punished.Any rebels who want a seperate state will also be punished.After ave given a speech to unite the people of India I would ask the U.N to give permission to have a deal with Sri Lanka.If the Indian Military completely wipes out the Tamil Tigers and brings order to Sri Lanka as well as destroy any rebels then Sri Lanka's goverment must agree to become a part of India.Or to become an Indian state.This will make India much larger and places like Assam and Kashmir can be of no worry if Sri Lanka is under Indian possession.

the first thing i would do is all the Stray unclaimed Cows, dogs, animals roaming or sitting in the middle of the roads, would be rounded up and put in a special farm and made a separation, Dogs, would be put up for sale, Cows put in the state owned diary. Thesecond thing, make a law that if any stray Cow was located without an ID around its neck, would be put in the state Diary. OR OR, you take care of your cows and animals, and not let them be a menace on the roads. This is my long time desire.
Then make primary education compulsory and subsidised and only in the villages, let education be a free education. To give teachers an incentive to go and teach or open colleges in the Village, I will inytroduce a bill in parliament, to allocate land free from the state to the education center proposed. Salary would be double than that of the city teacher with living quarters provided and a mess hall for the village children be provided in the school, where very heavily subsidised essential food will be provided, and Milk upto 150 ml per student per day will be provided free of charge at cost of the state. Those institutions in villages will be given 50 PCs free of charge under the help the Village scheme.
Set up an advanced Panchayat *** police matters body for the village. Give aid to cybers as a loan to operate. Education will become my top priority. My freind implimentiong all and hundreds of thousands of things even if given a month, seems a mamoth job.

First of all I'll order to have educational qualifications for Ministers (minimum Master's or PhD qualifications), No special accomodations/serurity provided to them. After all, these expenses are from the TAX amount whay we pay every year. Free educations for all children up to 12th standard after that they should be on merit status. Try to retain the brain drain with in the country rather educate them in India and their expertise used by western countries. Better security system internal/external. I'll make policies which are above the individual interest and are in best for the countries interest.

I will do just one thing abolish all taxes direct and indirect. In that place introduce one and only National Sales Tax. In India honest people are taxed heavily and dishonest, criminals are left tax free. This kind of system should go. Like the cell phones even the life also should be like " Pay as You go". to build a better india i would seriously focus on how to check the spiralling population growth. it is a serious matter and if not checked then it would be a disaster for the growth of the country.
