Peyton Manning - calls out someone every single playoff game he loses, last year it was the offensive lines fault so he said. He disrespected his coach and undermined him by waving the punting team off the field and running a play on 4th day despite what the coach said.
Jeremy Shockey - calls out his coaches, teammates, and then runs his freakin mouth more than ive ever seen ANYONE besides maybe Shannon Sharpe. He is an all around jackass, he was dancing to the camera last year in OT when he thought they had just kicked the game winning FG when in fact they missed.
Tiki Barber - great guy, but calls out Coughlin ALL the time.
Michael Strahan - called out Plaxico on a radio show of his then completely lied about it the next day to a reporter and belittled her and tried to make her look stupid b/c of his own lie.
Little things are not stressed with any other player in the NFL despite disrespectful actions, but when TO sleeps during a meeting its news for 3 weeks, wtf??

The guy is a jackass i can admit that, he does some things wrong but who doesnt? He is always held to a higher standard than ANYONE else in sports and its REALLY annoying especially from fans who have no clue what they are talking about. Being snubbed from the Pro Bowl this season wrong, judging him on character rather than performance is wrong in this case. You cannot tell me he is not a good teammate, if that were the case how come so many ppl from the Eagles stood for him and still hung out with him and were seen out with him after he was "kicked off"??? The guy is crazy, he does alot of things wrong...spitting on someone is AWFUL...but no one talked about Sean Taylor doing it this much and Sean Taylor was involved in a big *** drug/gun/brawl scandal that went down in the offseason but charges by the plaintiff were dropped since he was caught with Taylors ATV's....why dont we talk about players in trouble with the law????? Na we'll focus on TO's sleep habits and hate on him...

He's been a burden to the Cowboys???? LOL yeah nice post, they are just 9-5 with a chance to win the NFC East and have a top 5 offense in football, what a damn burden. !!!!!!!!!! GET A CLUE!!!!

T.O. is his own worst enemy. Yeah, I agree with most of your post that T.O. is a great player and there is an argument that he should be in the Pro Bowl. T.O.'s biggest problem is that he just cannot shut up. His problems started in San Francisco where he called out, among other people, Jeff Garcia. Then, afte blowing his free agency date, he was granted a reprieve and then was traded to the Ravens. But he didn't want to go there and ended up in Philly, where he was okay for a year and then called out Donovan McNabb.
In my mind, it was the McNabb incident that made him persona non grata among the NFL media. McNabb is one of the most over-rated players in the league, IMHO. However, McNabb, for whatever reason, is a media darling. I think a lot of it has to do with being in a major market.
But, T.O. just cannot shut up. His inability to do so will likely keep him out of the Hall of Fame and millions of dollars of endorsements. Is he any worse than many others? No. But I think T.O. like any attention, even negative attention. In fact, I bet he is happy not to have made the Pro Bowl. First, it has us talking about him right now. Second, he will have an extra week off to do what he wants to. If he wants, he can easily afford the air fare to Honolulu and doesn't have to play that useless game.
Being a Cowboy fan, all I care about is whether he catches the damned ball, which he drops fairly often. Yeah, every receiver drops the ball, but as with all else, T.O.'s drops are often spectacular. Is he the reason the Cowboys are in the playoffs? No. Would the Cowboys be better off without him? No. Is Dallas the best place for a personality like T.O? Without a doubt.
T.O. does not want the media's love. And I think that pisses them off.

You're obviously a Dallas fanboy so anything any one says will not persuade you. There are other a'holes in the league but they don't crave media attention. He has yet to go a week without improper conduct on or off the field this season or preseason or training camp or mini camp.
Does your whining come from the fact that he didn't make the Pro Bowl? Okay... then let's not address the issue of his conduct. Instead, let's address his performance. 4 players in the NFC have more reception yards than he does. 6 players in the NFC have more yards per game. But he does lead the NFC in "accidental" drug overdoses, spitting in faces and trash-talking his own team and players.

Your not talking bout the same TO that is now in the news AGAIN for spitting on a player?
Its crazy to think that just this year alone he is in the news for refusing to practice, disrespecting coaches and teammates, and sleeping in team meetings. Oh and by the way, is this not the 2nd team he has done this to? As I remember he did almost the same things with the Eagles last year.
The fact is that the reason he is in the news all the time for this stuff is because this is all there is to report on with him. Its all negative. Hes not chad Johnson who does things for laughs. He likes being the bad guy. Thats TO. Until that changes he will only get this kind of attention and he will be a burden to the Cowboys and the NFL.
EDIT!
Ok first off please keep this a friendly arguement. Correct he didnt refuse to practice, but he sure wasnt looking like he wanted to. In fact wasnt it a press confrence on ESPN ,that said he wouldnt play unless he practiced, the only thing that got him off his butt and onto the practice field.
I do agree with you on one thing each individual event is being blown way out of proportion. However, there are alot of TO things that keep him in the news that feed the fire.
Would we even be talking about him if he didnt spit on someone. no. But TO always does something that keep TO in the spotlight...even if its bad.
By the way...everything you mentioned...that was just this season...anyone care to recap all the havoc from last season?

Because everyone looks at TO as a hero/ amazing player, but he STINKS as a person, his behavior is horrible, he never should have gotten a second chance, the NFL was only looking at the $$ he brings in. Thats ALL that people look at, if he gets arrested they would pay his bail just so he could come back to the cowboys and play and get them some money.

He is on a higher level because he gets more coverage then Jeremy Shockey (who is just as bad) and the others. So when people who don't like the NFL watch sportscenter and they show T.O doing something (he shouldn't do) people might thinking bad things about the NFL. So the NFL wants to show their not taking things lightly and more people will see that when T.O is fined then when Kareem McKenzie is fined. (Something like what David Stern is doing with the NBA)

You're probably listening to ESPN too much. I've proposed renaming them the TO Access Network before. They are obsessed with the man, as evidenced by their coverage of the Philly-New England Super Bowl.
