I don't often find myself agreeing with Muslims but this is a partial exception - why shouldn't people be able to have multiple marriage partners? Certainly children would not be without a father/mother-figure if one of the husbands/wives leaves the mother/father. Where I differ with Muslims though, is that I would also allow a woman to take multiple husbands. What you think?

no because then where would the fire and spice be if swapping becomes mundane? Swinging would not be taboo and the thrill would be gone.

I agree with you. I think if a man can have many wife why can I not as a woman have many husbands.?

I feel as long as no one is on any kind of government aid then I feel that a man should be able to take on as many wives as he wants.

when it comes to state aid I think the more adults in the house the more people should be working and supporting the family.

Like the one guy in Utah how had like 13 wives, I saw no problem with that but I did have a problem with one or two of them being on food stamps. That many people in the house should be enough people working and paying and buying food.

My question is the law says nothing about 'living' with that many woman. Why do they have to get married.? Can they not just all live together and be married in the eyes of god and not the eyes of the state they are living in.?

What is good for the goose, is good for the gander. Dont agree with it at all. It only works where a man can take a few wives. It would soon stop if the woman was allowed to do the same. It would make me feel like a prosititute. Ugh.

i don't agree---this world has enough domestic problems caught up in the legal system -----can you imagine the domestic abuse that would insue because of what you're suggesting.

Examples should be taken in for thought: look at the problems with the recent news that took place in UTAH. The dude was a known polygamist---a child abuser, wife beater as well as molester. This is what you'll encounter by legalizing polygamy----INCEST will be on the rise....just as in the cases reported in UTAH>

Basically, no one can stop you from having whatever living arrangements you would like. Just don't involve minors; attempt welfare fraud, or try to make it official with more than one person, and you can do whatever turns your crank. Bigamy is a crime, polygamy per se is not.
