My dear house mate has gotten herself a new man and continually has him around so that they can have loud sex in her room.
As i am a shy person i am reluctant to say anything to her but it is getting on my nerves. The other day she ripped one of my prized possessions from the wall and broke it without an apology, only an explanation which was something like, " i was in a bad mood".
My partner and i are very quiet and try to respect my house mate by not touching her posessions or being loud in general.
My partner is now reluctant to come over and i am becoming very unhappy. Any advice or ideas on how to deal with this misery machine is appreciated.

You could try to sit down and talk to her at first and explain the problem. If she does not understand, find yourself a new house and better mates?
Dont want to lose your partner because of her, do you?

Holy Crap!!!!! There are so many solutions to this problem. I am assuming you are straight (if not this works with gays), Bring a bunch of prostitutes over and and have raunchy loud fun and keep the party going all night over and over. Another solution would have a hockey mask and a toy knife readily available. The next time the loud sex is going on bust in the door and scare the hell out them. That should be a good laugh if anything. Or try this one. When your flat mate is gone for a extend period of time have their stuff moved out and gone from your place, change the lock and have a friend that they don't even know move in and take over the room. When she returns deny that she lives there and that you have no recollection of who she is. If anything that will get her out of the house. If you have an extremely slutty friend have her sleep with her partner and have them do it all over they room where she sleeps. The solution to that will be no more loud sex for a while. If none of that works you can always off her!!!! Good Luck

I had a roomate once who took out all my refridgearated food, leaving it to spoil on the kitchen counter so he could stock (from top to bottom) fill my fridge w/ beer. While I'd be gone, he'd sneak his girlfriend in my room, where they'd have wild sex--and I'd come home to find the sheets stuck to the ceiling (just kidding, there) and my room would be a fill w/ the lady's perfume and a few left behind items of lingerie on the floor.

I bought him a huge ice chest and put a lock on my bedroom door, opting to tolerate his presence.

When I came home to find he busted my guitar amp by driving the volume and sound past the red-lines, I showed him the door and kicked him out. He took it hard and we didn't speak for a year or two; eventually, he grew up and understood why things came to be. He even paid me for the repairs I had made to my busted sound amp.

Take my experience and may it guide you.
