ya sure simply download the desired software either from manufacturer's website or from someother vendor
get it transferred to ur phone through ur cable or bluetooth and install it from the application menu and u are done
well for the avi files i recomend u to install real player for mobile phones

Divx participant, this is provided in a loose version and a kit for changing. It performs Divx layout, avi ect. homestead windows Media participant won't play .avi and not utilising a codec and homestead windows formats hardly artwork.
