Go into your bank in Australia (I assume that is where you live) and ask for the money to be transferred giving them a tracking number to the bank in Michigan. It is a wire transfer, easily done. I do this all the time. The bank handles the transfer as long as you have an account with them. If you don't have the transfer number, they can get it. You can also do this by telephone, again, as long as you have an account with the bank you want the money transferred to or from. You need to have an account with one of the banks.

Go to their Foreign Exchange Department. Most bigger branches of every major bank have one. They will do all the rest for you. It's not difficult at all.
