When I go to sign in it Windows XP states my username and says there are 7 message unread next to it but when I go to my email inbox there are no messages there...help please

windows glitch this i had the same problems when i used to have two user accounts. Maybe there is a fix for this on the microsoft support website, sorry i cant be of more help!

Go to Microsoft Outlook and see if there are any messages there. If there are, that's the problem. If not, if you have a instant messager like MSN or Yahoo!, go there, sign in and there should be messages there from other users. If this is not the problem, sorry but I can't help you any more. Maybe this site will. I've included it in the source section.

Go to Outlook Express, then to inbox, clear out the messages there. It will fine after that.
