NGK plugs are considered by many to be the best. Their top line one is the iridium IX.
If you're installing them yourself, you may want to change the wires as well. And remember - Only tighten the plugs about 1/2 to 2/3 of a turn past finger tight and use some anti seize compound on the threads. You'll also need to gap the plugs - that is adjust the distance between the center and ground and electrodes (gently bend the ground electrode in or out to get it right, just be careful not to damage the center electrode) - a gap gauge is only a few bucks at a parts store.
Check the NGK website for the part number and gap size of the plugs you need.

I would use either NKG or Bosch. Been working on BMW's in Germany for many years now and those are the preferred plugs.
Bosch can be hit or miss, but NKG always last.

Use NGK BKR6EK. Great plug. Bosch F8LDCR are also good plugs and are the ones BMW used in that car they started using NGK as OE in 99.
