Because its the dominant sport, the media and corporates are also giving so much of importance by spending crores of money on the players for endorsements, so there's a feel created in this country that cricket is the only sport.But now its chsnging tennis and golf and other sports are also getting so much importance now a days.

No all people are crazy on this game of cricket but people from the countries in which cricket is their main sport like India, Pakistan, England and Australia. I was in the west Indies during the off season and couldn't find a poster of Garfield Sobers!!

people who say that people are crazy on cricket because big people put so much money on it are wrong. People watch cricket and love it that is why big people put so much money in cricket. Cricket is a passion. It is such a beautiful game that it is hard to describe it in words. It gives us such memories that remain forever, one tremendous delivery, one beautiful shot, one piece of fielding etc. These are the things the cricket lovers love. Cricket gives us thrills, it gives us excitement. That is why people like you and me and all of us are crazy about cricket. Its a BEAUTIFUL GAAAAAAAME!

It's one of those games that balances on a knife edge . Anything can happen to change a game at any stage . I watch because of this expecting some form of dramatic streek of wicket losses or a batsman tearing the bowlers apart with 4's and 6's .

ppl r crazy about cricket coz its a game which is full of excitement.u cld b winning and a few wickets lost cld take u 2 da loosing side.same way if ur loosing and u get a few loose balls then u can hit a few boundries and increase ur run rate. u dont kno wat will happen in the next ball
