This sounds like a canker sore. Small ulcers with a white or gray base and a red border. And, they are not contagious. Their exact cause is uncertain but some experts believe that immune system problems, bacteria or viruses may be involved.
They usually heal on their own after a week or two, but an outbreak may occur. Over-the-counter topical anesthetics and antimicrobial mouthrinses may provide temporary relief. Stay away from hot, spicy or acidic foods that can irritate the sore. Antibiotics and some oral bandages can reduce secondary infection.

Yes, but you run risks of passing/getting infections. OK...if you MUST kiss him, use mouthwash rinse BEFORE and AFTER getting smoochy-smoochy. I just don't understand why one would go through the effort and pain during such a time.

You could, but I wouldn't advise. It's a great way to spread a disease.
I would see a doctor about the sore.

If you are healthy, then of course you can, but I wouldn't recommend it until you are fully healed just a a precaution.

Sure you can...
It's safe as long as you don't have infections, dieseases, since they're transferred via blood. Think about it.
