1. I have applied for this as I know I can bring a huge amount of commitment and hard work to this business. I find (whatever you are applying for) very interesting and the skills I have will be of advantage to this post.
2. My aspirations are to be aiming for a Senior position within the company by working hard and being dedicated to my job.
I hate those questions on application forms but I think they are basically wanting to know what you are thinking and what you could bring to the job. You could re-word what I have said to suit you but I have always used that along those lines and have never failed to get the job.

1) Why did you apply ;-) What made you go for this area before something else? What do you like about the industry?
2)Do you want to move up through the ranks to upper management? Do you plan to constantly improve your standing in the company?
Just a bit of help, there are many ways to answer those questions and it depends solely on you and the job/career.
I hope that helps give you some ideas.

Best of luck with it.
I'm sorry, but i've hired lots of people and spotting vague, generic answers is easy. you need to answer truthfully. If you don't know why you want to be in that business area, why apply in the first place.
Consequently, its impossible to answer this meaningfully. I know thats not what you want, but applications don't work like that.
Just jot a few ideas down, start with key words about the job.. Within a couple of minutes those few words will expand into an answer.
eg:
marketing, customers, sales, travel.......
This vacancy will give me the opportunity to use my multinational proven marketing experience to its full. Being highly ( £2.5m order book ) sales driven and multi-customer focussed I look forward to the challenge of EMEA travel to meet and support the top 5 customers.
knowledgable, top-of-field, expert
Within 5 years I am aiming to use my abc expereince to be a senior technical specialist, focussing on xyz technology. My target it to be recognised as top of my field as a knowledge, approachable QWE accedited expert.
i don't wish to criticise KoolKat too much, but things like "I know I can bring a huge amount of commitment and hard work to this business" and "..very interesting and the skills I have will be of advantage to this post" and "by working hard and being dedicated to my job" are too generic. They don't tell me anything.
Those things are expected, i would expect every applicant to be like that. If you tell em that, i wonder what you actually have to offer.
hoep that helps

1, you find it interesting and think it will provide you with achievable challenges
2. Hopefully still working for the same company, very happy with your current role with a view to moving up the ladder.
Its all about making them think you are loyal and not going to spend all day on the net!!
If you get an interview you can always ask them;
1 - What is your staff turn around?
2 - What are the one of main reasons staff remain with the company or enjoy working there most?

re-write the questions + put "hmmm" after them, then hand in the form folded like a paper plain.
