I'm a Colts fan! But I was counting on them to loose that game! I guess The combination of the Colts playing better and the Bengals having a bad night was the reason. I have alot of family members who are Bengals fans. (sense southeastern Indiana is Bengal country) So I do hear about it when they loose! lol...

I expected more production from their offense.

Yeah! Your right about Freeney! That guy is probably the quickest defensive end in the NFL! Whatever is wrong with the Colts Defense does not involve Freeney or McFarland!

I won't forget Manning either! Of course Peyton is Peyton! And one thing you do not want to do is Piss Peyton off! I think he was playing mad last Monday night! And with people being so critical of the Colts and Manning its bound to get them motivated sooner or later! But these guys need one thing: A SUPERBOWL WIN! To shut up their critics at least for a season! I don't doubt that the Colts can do it! But it will not by any means be easy! Sense they have 4th and 5th string defensive backs and safties playing. But Hey! Look at how well Dexter Reid played last night!

Their probowl RT was injured on the second play of the game(thats why they called the devistating time out). That alone would have been bad, add that they were allready missing their LT and C. If you don't have your line it really limits what you can do running or passing. So the bengals had to scrap their game plan and limit the offense to plays that would not put Carson Palmer at risk of injury. It wasn't merely that the Bengals ran into a better team, their offenses being very comparable (aside from TE but Clark is out) and both defenses aren't very good. Injuries along the line are the main reason the Bengals have strugled this year, only Steinbach the LG hasn't missed time and as good as he is (he's gonna leave and make a fortune in the offseason) he can't do it all, atleast not at the same time. You are correct, SE Indiana is Bengal country to about Batesville, I'm a hoosier too, making the Colts my second favorite team

First off....loose means something is not tight, like a screw is loose. LOSE means to not win....most ppl expected the Colts to LOSE the game but IMO that was b/c ESPN was hyping them up. Few reasons that they lost:

1.) Their defense is pathetic especially against the pass (look up the stats they are the worst in the NFL against the pass) and when going against Peyton, Harrison, and Wayne its IMPOSSIBLE to win if you cant defend the pass.

2.) Their gameplan was horrible, Rudi Johnson did not get enough touches, 22 is not enough when this defense has been getting ran over week in and week out.

3.) Whoever is their defensive coordinator really screwed up, he did not blitz nearly enough and hardly at all, you allow Peyton time to sit back in the pocket he will find receivers at a high rate and they will beat you, and the Bengals ALLOWED him to do that.

4.) Indy's pass D stepped up in a major way and finally shut a quality team down. That is a tough offense they played and they played them even tougher.

Now those are the reasons that Indy won, but in the long run they cannot perform in the playoffs as a team and especially Peyton Manning (3-6 in playoffs). This team is not nearly good enough to win it all.

Terrible play calling. What they should have done was run Rudi until his legs fell off. This would have kept Manning off the field. I was shocked to see their first three offensive play were passes. Do you think Marvin even watched the film of the Jacksonville game. Rudi is better than any back on the Jags.

you're actual perfect, the Bengals are a extensive unhappiness this 12 months. they have the skills, some key injuries and a mix of poor execution, poor training judgements and doubtless slightly undesirable success to bypass alongside with it have doomed them this 12 months. base line nevertheless, you lose as many close video games as they have this 12 months the instructor has to take the blame, it extremely is in simple terms the way it is going.
