I have dark green eyes, like olive green, and sooo many people will glance at them and think they are brown. Sometimes, they are (you know how eyes can change color), but generally they are not. Any ideas to really bring out the green in them, and make them appear even greener? My skin tone is fair, with just a bit of a tan. Any ideas and any help at all is very much appreciated!

You can get contacts called enhances by johnson and johnson which dont fully change the colour of your eyes but they enhance them to the colour of your choice so they look natural.
I would suggest trying these as they look great!

A good rule of thumb when choosing a color for makeup tips for green eyes is to focus on warm colors and avoid cool colors.
Try different browns, especially chocolate tones. Browns and dark greens with copper or gold highlights are also a great choice.

Apricots and taupes are good choices for highlighters.

Dark purples, plums and metallics work too. Coppers and golds will make a really glamorous evening look for makeup tips for green eyes. I personally really like the way deep purples look with dark green eyes.

Colors To Avoid

Any color of blue doesn't do green eyes justice. I would recommend avoiding light blues, dark blues and even some colors (purples or pinks) with blue undertones.

Pinks are also a hard color to judge. Some can look really, really good and others can look really, really bad. This is usually a matter of trial and error.

Silvers are not a good choice either. Leave them for the blue eyes.

Maybe a nice eyeshadow with a hint of olive green. This might add to your eyes, and people could see how your eyes match to the eyeshadow.

i think grey eyeshadow wtih a blue eyeliner pen around and on the eye would make your eyes stand out. Also, i dont know what colour hair you have but blonde hair makes green eyes stand out, or, if you have dark hair get lighter bits put in it. It also helps if you wear the right colour clothes.

hope i helpeddd.

Purples are known to bring out green eyes. I also use nudes and nudes with shimmer, browns, silvers and grays on my clients. But DO NOT do the green on green thing. That doesn't bring out eye color, it makes it all look like one big green mess!

I've heard that brown eyeshadows make eyes greener. Try brown mascara also.

Get green-colored contact lenses or u may wish to use a green tinted eyeshadow. I saw my colleague use that green tinted eyeshadow - she used it just above her lashes & it really makes her look *wow*. Hope it helps.

Lavender or purple eyeliner may bring them out nicely. However, some women are allergic to the blues in purple hues, as I am!
