Definitely - I normally never watch reality shows, but this year somehow I've been following the X-Factor. She has a beautiful voice and in the last few shows it really seemed like she is a professional who's been at it for years! +she is very pretty which'll help loads when she is launched in the States.
Felt bad for Ray but the best decision was made by the public. I wish her well cos she deserved to win and I hope she'll go far. For everyone who says no one will remember her after a year, I think she is one of the talented few who will make it to the top - her voice is incredible and she hits the high-notes perfectly!

No. Just cos she looks like a star she won. X-Factor is a shallow program for children. She will be dropped eventually by her record lable when they have made enough money off her.
Wake up people, it ain't about talent. I question the age of the people above me who are so gullible. Radio stations must refuse to play x-factor ****. Other muscians must complain that the xmas no 1 is fixed every year. I'm glad it's over for a year so I don't have to hear about it.
She wont't last cos there's other females stars similar to her. Ray will entertain in clubs and the west end for a long time.

Despite just how wonderful everybody thinks Leona is/was, just hang on in there for a few years and see whose name keeps cropping up as the star in musicals all over the place. It won't be hers, it'll be Rays. HE'LL be the one with his name in lights all over the West End and probably Hollywood too after a while. Mark my words. HE'S the one who's going to make a good living out of, and when he earns, he pays his agents' fees, tax and insurance, and the rest is his.
Leona's "£1M" contract means that out of that million comes everything from SyCo's fees, transport and arrangement fees to all her "plugging performances" and "personal appearances", the entire costs of recording, producing, making and delivery of the "records" together with any other expenses, and at the end of it all, she'll come out of it with (hopefully) enough cash to buy a smallish house and a car and enough glory to wallow in for a few months. After that, it's all in "the lap of the Gods" as to whether or not the public carry on liking her or not.
Of course, in the meantime, Ray will be thoroughly enjoying singing and dancing his way through all the "Barclay Lloyd" Andrew Lloyd Webber shows, absolutely coining it!
Like I said above: Mark my words and see if I'm right !

Leona has the voice of an angel, and I shall def be buying her album.
Ray is a one trick pony-living in the 50's!
Def the right decision!

Definately, she has an amazing voice. the new xmas song sounded so much better sang by Leona than by Ray and gave me goose bumps when she sang it. Just wonder what fame and money will do to a shy/nice Leona?

Leona Snoop Dogg?
Yeah, she has a fabulous voice but need to stop copying other people and find her own style. We don't need any more Mariahs or Whitneys!

It was the only decision that was ever going to be! Leona was always going to win, as she was the only one who remotely resembled a pop star.

Yep, it was the right decision. We have to remember X Factor is a singing competition not a personality contest.
Good luck Leona.

Of course it was the right decision - the big question is ....does Cowell have the know-how and expertise to make her the international star that she should/could be. I suspect that she'll be forced to release a string of dreary ballads - have a few number ones here in the UK and then sink into obscurity. Cowell and Walsh have no history of managing truly international singers.
