When you change time zones, does your cell phone change time?

Say you're going from New York to Los Angeles - will your cell phone change its time display automatically or do you have to somehow change it manually?

All current phones (4 years and older) change time zones on their own. It may also depend on the brand, but if it is a newer phone than you should have no problem.

Cell phone providers broadcasts time information, among other things. So, most modern cell phones automatically change its time. It is funny!! In some circumstances they may actually turn on theyself to do this (I don't know why or when). Mine did it sometime ago.

That relies upon. once you've your telephone set to computerized updates, it is going to substitute at the same time as it registers with a cellular tower interior a diverse timezone. in the adventure that your telephone isn't set to replace immediately, you may manually substitute the time
