1. The first time I saw Sam Kinison's 'scream' shtick was in "Back to School" with Rodney Dangerfield. I about died laughing.

2. Monty Python troop singing Every Sperm is Sacred in "Meaning of Life."

3. "Being There" with Peter Sellers. A semi-retarded man, totally honest with everyone about his shortcomings, is always seen as very intelligent. He outright says things like "I don't know how to write," or "I don't know how to read," or I do not know what it means," but everyone misunderstands. He ends up running for President. But 20 minutes into the film, he's threatened by a black street gang. Later he meets a black doctor and gives him a message from the gang.... stupendously funny.

4. "The Pink Panther Strikes Again" with Sellers once more... the interrogation scene at the Fassbender house!

5. "Team America" - Kim Jong Il singing 'I'm So Ronery'

In the movie "Monty Python and the Meaning of Life" scene at the end where Death comes to the dinner party. I laughed so hard that I couldn't talk for almost an hour. Also the scene in the original "Dawn of the Dead" when the bikers break into the shopping mall and are robbing the zombies, spraying them with water and smashing pies in their faces...okay, I'm morbid, sue me.

Hey Ashley, that's not a comedy, that was a TRAGEDY! One scene that is just kinda silly, but that STILL makes me laugh out loud EVERY TIME I SEE IT is the scene from Bruce Almight when Evan (Steve C) is on the air and is flipping out.

I have many, but two stick out. In the movie Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, the scene where the two British girls play "Battleshits" in the bathroom.
Then, in the movie Grandma's Boy, the part where he gets off to the lara Croft Tomb Raider doll and...well, you have watch it.

The greatest and longest running comedy routine is Abbot and Costello in their "Who's on first". It is clean and timeless.

Best scene in a comedy: from "Young Frankenstein."

DR. FRONKENSTEEN: You know, I'm quite a brilliant surgeon. I could help you with that hump.
EYE-GORE: What hump?

(long, awkward silence)

DR. FRONKENSTEEN: Let's go.

See, you also have to watch it to comprehend its brilliance.
