It is Carmelos team for 2 reasons.....

1.) he is the "young gun"
2.) he has been there for 3 (on his 4th) seasons now

BUT as far as offensive options, its whoever is on on that particular night. This is where the Nuggets are gonna get SO much better at. Off nights for these 2 guys do not happen often but if they do then they have another viable option right next to them. If Carmelo is not shooting well he is smart enough to use his presence on the court to get AI open shots, and vis a versa........Iverson wants to win, thats all he wants...scoring 30+ means nothing to him if his team doesnt need that, and they wont. He'll still get his b/c he is the best in the NBA at creating his own shot.

Iverson is gonna bring SOOOO many things to the Nuggets:

1.) He can pass as well as ANYONE in the NBA, his assists are never that high b/c his teammates SUCKED in Philly and your teammates have alot to do with your assist numbers.

2.) Defense, he is one of the better defenders in the league and creates many turnovers and wears out great players both on defense and offense therefore rendering them a lil bit less effective against the Nuggets.

3.) Can score 40 a night if he wanted to, again he creates his own shot better than ANYONE in the league given the fact he is my height maybe shorter (6'0").

4.) He cares more about the team than himself, no one realizes that b/c he has been in Philly and he's had to do it himself. He will prove that he's the ultimate team player as long as they are winning and im gonna assume they will be.

5.) The 15 game suspension for Melo could prove useful for the Nuggets, this gives AI and Melo a month to practice together before they play together, thats HUGE IMO and yeah it looks bad but I bet in the long run it turns out to be a blessing in disguise.

6.) The guy carries a team like no one else ever has. Who was the worst team to play for an NBA champ? It was Iversons Sixers, they were awful but yet he dominated in such a way that he carried them ALONE. The next highest scorer was Aaron Mckie....LOL.

7.) Iverson can run an uptempo offense with the best of them and IMO prolly the best out there to do it. He has the speed, vision, and talent to make the Nuggets the best fast break offense in the league, even better than the Suns.

This team should be absolutely amazing with Iverson. IMO he is the greatest player Ive ever seen play (20 yo) b/c of his size and how he is still one of the most prolific players out there. Sure there are guys as short as him in the league but do they put up 33 a night? Do they carry teams on their back? Did they shake Jordan their rookie season? Did they become MVP's? Did they win the scoring title? 4 times? NO...and he did it without a damn bit of help...

It's Iverson's team for a number of reasons the first one is at this stage of both of their careers Iverson is still the better player although carmelo leads the league in scoring(31.6) and Iverson by .4 31.2) and has a world of talent a great player in his own right Iverson is an all-time great player. Carmelo is just coming into his own by leading the league in scoring for a quarter of a season while Iverson has done it for 4 entire seasons scoring at a rate behind only Wilt Chamberlin and Michael Jordan .Then there are the intagables like experience and respect around the league from the refs and the players(especially after what took place at the garden) .For all of Iverson off the court issues we have never see him in an incident like this or Carmelo's Scottie Pippen impersonation refusing to go back in a game after removing himself granted he was younger then however leadership like this maybe why Carmelo has yet to win a playoff seriers like Dwayne Wade who won a championship and was named mvp of the finals and Lebron who led his team to the second round and within one game of the confrence finals losing game 7 to the Pistons. On the other hand Iverson has proven what he can do with the right peices around him and thats go to the finals and if not for the irresistable force known as Shaq or is that the immovable object oh yeah he's was both and his then trusted sidekick the player formerly known as no.8 Kobe he would probably have a ring. And last but not least he puts hinys in the seats he's a bigger star after all who do u think Melo is trying to look like with the cornrows, headband and tattoos ,not Mike.

AI's team. The feeling of their teammates would be mutual. Eventually Iverson is gonna emerge as the team leader cuz he plays with more intensity, passion and heart than anthony. Carmelo himself will admit to the world he looks up on AI. Just look at the way he dresses, his style? The Answer is Allen Iverson

In my opinion its neither. I know this will hurt some of the fans on here but lets face facts. Untill Iverson can prove himself that this is a team he will be staying for years to come he can never call it his team.

For carmelo, he needs to rebound from his 15 game suspension with new life for the game and show everyone that he is a professional.

Until either of these players do this...its up in the air.

i do no longer think the Nuggets would have too lots fulfillment with Iverson and Anthony, Iverson shoots too many times and is a hapless group ball participant. the difficulty with the line up you contemporary is the commencing midsection Marcus Camby, he's a stable participant, yet too small to play midsection in the NBA.

It's still Carmelo's team. I think that AI's points may go down a bit, but he'll get more assists and hopefully he will finally grow up. He whines too much. It will take him a while to adjust but eventually he'll be happy scoring just 23 ppg and winning a ring finally!

Good question dude ,do you really see AI taking a backseat and not being in the limelight. Do you thing melo may get little jealous ,i mean he wont be the automatic first look option?. Karl better set everyone straight in the team and make sure everyone knows there place

it is still melo's team a.i. will just gonna fit in with melo he is just a new comer, melo carry the nuggets to the playoffs even though only on the 1st round but still just trying his best, a.i. will be one of the supporting cast of melo wether he'll like or not

It's Karl's team. He should have what it takes to contain the two super egos and shape their pride to help each other, the team and the whole organization.
