Im just could not get aroused when having sexual intercourse with my husband. My vagina will be very dry and thus the whole intercourse would be very painful for me. My husband and I have tried a lot ways to induce the liquid such as watching porno movies, heavy patting, touching and ticking the lower part, etc. Yet, I just do not get aroused at all. I have tried the lubricant and it reduces the pain. However, I do not relish the intercourse. How do I get myself wet?

Personal Lubricant like K-Y Jelly

Personal lubricants are those used to lubricate body parts generally during sexual activity. there are three main types Water based, oil based and silicon based, both have differing advantages and disadvantages.

Water-based lubricants are advised for use with many sex toys and condoms as they do not degrade the material these are made from, but they are incompatible with sex acts which occur in water (such as in a bath) as they dissolve and disperse in water.

Unlike water-based lubricants, oil-based lubricants such as Vaseline weaken latex and may reduce the effectiveness of latex condoms as a contraceptive and protection against sexually transmitted diseases. Use of oil-based lubricants for anal or vaginal sex may coat the lining of the rectum or vagina, providing a haven for infection. ([1]). Oil-based lubricants can only safely be used for anal sex if all involved participants are STD-negative. Protected sex may not be "safe sex" for days after use of oil-based lubricants as they have a tendency to linger in the anus.

Although petroleum jelly (i.e. Vaseline) is inexpensive and readily available, it can often be difficult to clean off the body after sexual activity, due to the fact that it is not water soluble. Clear, bottled mineral oil (commonly used as an oral laxative), or baby oil, is a less viscous alternative to petroleum jelly and is easier to wash off the skin. One might also consider a vegetable oil like rice bran oil, if the zongzi-like smell can be tolerated.
