I saw his HBO special on Comedy Central a couple months ago and I can't remember his name. He was in a suit, bald, goatee, and he talked about how he was in the hospital and the surgery he had was going to give him erectile dysfunction or something and he was reading off the medical pamphlet he got about all the bad things that were supposed to happen to him. Ring any bells?

Man, i know what you are talking about. My husband and I watched it and thought it was hilarious. It isn't george carlin or howie mandel. I know this isn't the answer you were looking for, I just wanted to steer folks off of the Howie Mandel track cause it wasn't him. Sorry

sounds like Howie Mandel.
He is bald with a goatee and has done HBO recently.
