sounds like it could be your water. call the hospital, they'll ask a bunch of questions to help figure out better if it was your water. if your water did break, you need to go to the hospital becuz if the baby isn't born within a certain amount of time it can cause infection. so probly better to go in and check.
good luck!! (my water broke at 37 weeks with my first son)

Sure does sound like your "water". Has your "plug" came out yet, or have you noticed any other discharge before hand? When your "water" breaks, it's a lot of fluid that stays pretty constant, it's not just a little bit of clear fluid. It's also uncontrollable, when it comes, you can't turn it off, like to stop urinating. Also, there might be a bit of blood in it as well if it is your "water". If your still unsure, call your doctor, they should have a doc on call that you could talk to over the phone. If you don't have a doc, just go to the hospital. It's better safe than sorry. I wouldn't want to deliver in a car on the side of the freeway personally. I would rather be safe. Good Luck,oh, and Congratulations.

If your water is even leaking a bit, yes go in or at least call the doctor. The fluid is needed for the baby to be healthy and safe. Once the water breaks, you will begin contractions soon (that is how most doctors get things moving along on delivery day, as that water breaking sets off a chain reaction). You could end up with complications or problems if you do not go in, and it is better to be safe than sorry (you don't want to cause any possible damage to the baby or yourself). Congratulations on your new baby!

it is always better to be silly and safe than to have had your water break and there be a problem later on.

i thought my water broke too a few weeks ago, and so i went in....it turns out i REALLY can't control my bladder (sorry for the tmi)

but the nurses said they wished there were more women like me..they said they see it all too often that women wait too long, thinking their water didn't break.

they told me that when your water breaks, it will continue to leak, soaking a maxi pad in an hour or two. your body continuously creates amniotic fluid every 3 hours, so it won't stop coming. if this is the case, go to the doctors.

good luck! =)

hey dont panic gravity has a way of pushing stuff out and thers not much room in you right now.and you probaly were nt using a comdom lol

sex will most likley bring on labour and then youll knowit youll feel baby coming ...just clean up sit down for a while and read.
if any pain comes and fluid keeps comming your waters have broken ,otherwise if fluid stops youll know it was somthing else

also a note theres somthing in seman which softens the cervix wich can start labour,
but relax for now and keep watching

If you are unsure you should call the emergency room or a 24 hour medical assistance hotline-not 911 (until you know that baby is preparing to make an appearance).

You have a good reason. It is time to call your Doc. Some women experience labor differently than is the norm. But a wattery discharge, in any abundance says; your water broke, time to call your Doc.
