What is blind date ? and where from the concept has come?

A blind date is a date with someone you have not yet met.

Dictionary.com says: a social appointment or date arranged, usually by a third person, between two people who have not met.

Blind date is a date of the blinds....and the the windows has full of blinds.... then two blind people meeting together and have a date........lol.................. actually blind date is a set-up of dating.. normally by freinds where two people does not know whom to date..... i dont know where did it came from...

This concept is very intresting and sometime shocking..........

when to person usually to opposit sex ...........

meet each other for the first time which they have never met before....... without knowing who is he/her.....what she/he look like........like shooting arrow in the dark.................... sometime it works and some time its the worst experiance..................

I think this concept comes with internet chatting where girls meet boys without seen each ................

I had this experiance 2, 3 time and honestly..........2 time its quite a pleasent experiance and the 3rd time its horrible............
