He is just lucky, that's all. Why didn't he do this when he played a full season at Cleveland?

You know what I agree that Romo really shouldn't be on. I get that point. I don't think Garcia would have made it though. Face it the Pro Bowl is nothing more then a popularity contest and most see Garcia as a washed up QB that is having a good day so to speak. It isn't really thought that he could keep that up for a season. Look at the bright side though, Rex Grossman DIDN'T make the Pro Bowl. I mean come on if it wasn't the record what really got Rivers in the Pro Bowl? If he didn't have LaDainian Tomlison on that team and he was 6-8 do you think he would be in the Pro Bowl? I'm not saying that is what their record would be I'm just kinda making one up.
Oh and to the Eagle's Fan singing his praise saying Oh he had no cast in Cleveland, which is a QB Graveyard and a bad comparison, where was he in San Fran when he HAD a TEAM??

He didn't play long enough even if they did select it at the end of the year. Make him the player of the month, but you have to maintain a high level of performance for the entire season, and frankly there were too many quarterbacks who did this for him to have a shot anyway.
As far as that guy who says Vick and Favre should go???@?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING....
Actually wait, lets let favre go, I want to see him set the record for most interceptions thrown in a pro-bowl. He is a selfish s.o.b only good for throwing interceptions. He should be letting the backup quarterbacks get reps and game experience so they can develop into the new Franchise qb. What good is having an old guy who throws interceptions playing when you still lose more than you win, idiotic...
As far as Vick, he is unstoppable when he is playing good, and horrible when he is playing bad. If he could become consistantly good, then I would agree with you that he should make the pro-bowl. If the guy played at the top of his game every week I would even go as far as to say he could be the MVP. Though, that is not the case. He had two horrible weeks in which his team lost to the LIONS and to the BROWNS. Are you kidding me? He needs to be consistant.

I am a die hard EAGLES fan and I can't even agree with that. Just like I can't agree with Romo getting an invite to Hawaii.
I think Brett Farve or Michael Vick should be there... Farve had one hell of a bounce back year.
As for the ignorant comment about why Garcia couldn't do it in Cleveland, that is easy... Cleveland is terrible and had no supporting cast.. They were counting on Garcia to do everthing.
Insert him into the EAGLES line up, with Brian Westbrook in the backfield and a couple of "workable" receivers (Reggie Brown, Donte Stallworth, LJ Smith) and a lot of pressure is removed from his shoulders. Also, in replacing McNabb, he had nothing to lose and everything to gain... They were a sinking ship when he took over.

I agree that it's somewhat unfair to select Pro Bowl players before the season even ends, but Jeff Garcia is a stretch at best.

Yes he has put up good numbers over four games. But the question becomes could he have done it over the course of 17 weeks. He is an older quarterback and I dont think he could take the pounding of a full season.

Favre should be there...but I can't help but be relieved that Romo is there instead of Vick...its about time we stop the travesty of inviting Vick to Hawaii every year...maybe if he ever gets good, he can go back
