2002 Honda Accord mileage: 72500. After replacing hydraulic clutch master cylinder, I am left with a "dead clutch pedal".

You didn't bleed the air out

just like brakes when a component is changed out Air gets in

need seal the system - there should be a bleeder screw down at the piston assy link to your clutch

get one of those cheap car manuals

Open the pipe let the hydraulic oil come out, all air will come out i.e. bleeding. Pressure will be ok; check also clutch spring is ok or not?

be care full not to pump to the floor you can damage the see lings get a friend to pump the pedal care full and open the bleeding screw to let out the air.remember to top up the fluid
