Many, if not most automotive companies have their own design subdivisions.
however, if you're looking for a very cool design firm, check out Italdesign (http://www.italdesign.com/dinamic/index.html)
They have designed some of the hottest cars for Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo, Mercedes-Benz, and more! They designed the new R230 SL Roadster, for example.

Also web-search companies such as Prodrive, Lotus Engineering, Pininfarina, Bertone, Karmann, Heuliez, Magna, Ital Design, IdeA, UltraMotive, Ricardo, etc.
Also bear in mind that most manufacturers have their own design and engineering capabilities (and many have multiple facilities in different parts of the world), so look at the corporate websites for a few of these too.
