I've had two dreams where I died. The first one was about ten years ago. I dreamed that I was walking around in my house, and I went into the laundry room. I opened the lid on the washing machine, and instead of seeing the bottom there was just a big, bottomless hole. I went in, and I died! The second one was just a couple of weeks ago. It was kinda in the future, and I remember I went up into space on this big elevator thing, then I came whizzing back down really, really fast. At the bottom, just before I landed, I hit the STOP button and it stopped. Then I did it two more times. Then I got out, and got a few people to come with me (one of whom was my mom) and did it again, only this time, I had forgotten about the warning sign that said you could only do it three times in one day, so that when we all got closer to the bottom and I tried to stop it wouldn't! So we all crashed at the bottom, and we all died. Then we started going up into heaven! It was terrifying! What does it mean?

Death
To dream about the death of a loved one, suggests that you are lacking a certain aspect or quality that the loved one embodies. Die
To dream that you die in your dream, symbolizes inner changes, transformation, self-discovery and positive development that is happening within you or in your life. Although such a dreams may bring about feelings of fear and anxiety, it is no cause for alarm and is often considered a positive symbol. Dreams of experiencing your own death usually means that big changes are ahead for you. You are moving on to new beginnings and leaving the past behind. These changes does not necessarily imply a negative turn of events. Metaphorically, dying can be seen as an end or a termination to your old ways and habits. So, dying does not always mean a physical death, but an ending of something.
On a negative note, to dream that you die may represent involvement in deeply painful relationships or unhealthy, destructive behaviors. You may feeling depressed or feel strangled by a situation or person in your waking life. Perhaps your mind is preoccupied with someone who is terminally ill or dying. Alternatively, you may be trying to get out of some obligation, responsibility or other situation.
To see someone dying in your dream, signifies that your feelings for that person are dead or that a significant change/loss is occurring in your relationship with that person. Alternatively, you may want to repress that aspect of yourself that is represented by the dying person.

it seems like you are experiencing some failure in real life. Projecting your own death is telling you that you are giving up in something in reality.
#1 your house, laundry room = safety zoon
bottomless hole = helpless conscience
#2 space with big elevator thing = emptiness
Hitting stop button = try to over come difficulties
So putting two dreams together, you are experiencing something that you feel helpless in reality. It is out of your control and reach. You struggle hard enough in reality but somehow you can't overcome and so projecting yourself in that kind of dream could mean you are giving up eventually. Basically, you vent it out from your dream and reveal what your true feeling is for situation you are into now.

There are many dream books describing dreams and what they mean and they all have different answers, but most of them say that when u dream of death it means a birth will occur. Death, weddings and birth usually have the opposite meanings. I believe in dreams. Dreaming of chocolates for example means u or someone close to u will incur medical expenses, the day after I dreamt I was picking chocolates off shelves in a shop my best friend phoned me to come to the hospital because her boyfriend had been in a motorbike accident. And here in South Africa we pay for medical attention - it is not free.

It means you are starting a new cycle in your life. The same as getting the death card at a tarot reading. You dream about "black holes", They represent your open-mindedness. It also means you are willing to give anything a try, just to say that "you have done it."
