A great way to choose is to go to the back door and scream out the name followed by,"Get in this house right now and finish your homework" at least 15 times. If you aren't sick of it after that, the name is probably a keeper. It sounds strange, but that's how you'll be using the name for the next 18 years.

I had a great time selecting names. First I got one of those baby name books and selected some favorites. Then I got into the family tree and found some good ones. Practice saying it a few times like "dinner's ready...................". Make sure the child's initials don't spell something something silly like C.O.W. Make sure it's not a name that school children will get wrong, or will mock. I love all the names you have except Bastion because I think it will be made fun of.

Bastion is an awesome name and Ella is very pretty. Go with your gut. Every kid gets picked on for something - help your kid be confident and have self-esteem. The name will take on the characteristics of the kid - not the other way around.

I chose the name julian cause i loved it and no one else has the name where we live. I watched the show passions the whole time i was pregnant and that is where i got his name.
Name your baby what you want because you are the one who is going to be laying in pain to have him/her so who cares what anyone thinks about what name you pick.
I like Ella, Christopher Allen & Alexander
Sebastion would be better then you could call him Bastion.

I have to vote for Christopher Allen...
My two year old son's name is Christopher Alan...GREAT NAME!!!!
Chris is a safe name...he won't get stuffed into a locker over it. These new-age names with all the funny spellings and extra vowles are ridiculous!! Give him a good solid man's name... not a sissy, yuppy name with a "y" instead of an "i"...

Well then i suggest none of those names! Today your name means where in the world you belong, and having kids pick on you early in life aint going to get you anywhere. Your child needs a strong name that will suite him/her as a child and as a adult. Kenneth Crhistoper Allen sounds like he could go far. Whats up with the girls names?

Well, my favorite for a girl is Bayley. My favorites for a boy are Seth, Gavin, Salem, and Jade. I like Blayke though. Just choose a name that doesn't sound like a slang word.

I am 4.5 months pregnant and I have a few different names that I like picked out too. My plan is to wait until the baby is born and then look at him or her. I think that once I see my baby I will know what name fits him or her best.

I don't have any kids myself but I have an uncle who is an specialist choosing names, I really don't know why he says that the name shouldn't have the letters v,f,n and r. Numberology stuff....but as for me..I would recomend you to choose a simple name...nothing extravagant, because, you know, kids are mean sometimes, specially in highschool and they can make fun of a not common name for them.
Maybe a good name for a girl would be Sophia, it's simple and beautiful and it has a great meaning (wisdom).
