The money comes from YOU-----okay ??
Follow---you buy a product-- that product costs X dollars
the people that produce that product add Y dollars to it to cover the expense of advertising it----and it is in the advertising costs that the companies that advertise on the various television spend that the companies that produce the shows get their share and it is from that share that the actors get their pay----So , it is YOU that is paying these people every time you pick up a product that is advertised on any given television show !!!!!
I don't know about YOU but I would like to fire some of these people -- hire some cheaper or at least less expensive entertainers and get a whole lot of cheaper products !!!!

It does come from you. Depending on what you watch, it may be coming from things other than advertising though. In England, they pay a licence fee per TV. In Canada, public funds partly support programming on CBC and in US, PBS is funded by various corporations and 'viewers like you'.
But, yep ... we pay
Peace
