I'm not dyslexic, but sometimes I write numbers down backward?

Or if a phone number goes something like 317..... I might dial the numbers as 713. I wonder why I do this...

any thoughts on this? Also, I sometimes try to take down notes from teachers/instructors, but I find that I write notes from what I am thinking instead or notes from what other people are saying around me. It's like I am really trying to focus and pay attention, but I am zoning out and writing other things down instead.

Oh, and sometimes I have to reread a paragraph from a book if I hear somebody talking in the background because I concentrate on what they have to say instead of reading from the book.

Does anyone else out there experience the same things? Please tell me I am not alone! :D I will feel better.

I actually experience the same thing when I write numbers. My excuse is that my brain works faster than my hand writes.

Honey, how do you know you are not dyslexic because you sure do sound like you have all the symptoms.

I have it and I do the same things you do. You can get help for this go to a therapist and you can be helped a lot.

i am not dylexic too but i sometimes have a trouble like that too. instead of 4 i write n, instead of 5 i write s, instead of 9 i write d and stuff like that. i think this happens because we are not too focused on what we are doing. so the solution is easy just focus....
