It should say on the ticket, or you can try the website for the venue and it should say, or you can try calling them to find out. I assume you're talking about Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal City Walk...
No, they don't allow cameras "No Baskets, Cameras, or Recording Devices"
You can always try calling them just to make sure. I went to a concert recently at the Honda Center and they did allow cameras in, as long as they were just regular cameras and not the kind with super zoom like the press uses, you know. I think some places are getting better about that because that's the 2nd time that's happened to me, at 2 different venues.

If they catch you with it, as you are entering the gates, they give you the option to take it back to your car (which is usually a long ways away), then go to the back of the line. Or you can throw it in the trash. If they catch you with it inside, you can be booted out, fined, or just have it confiscated. I'd say its not worth it. By the way, at a concert I attended in Indiana, you couldn't bring in outside cameras, but they sure sold disposable cameras for $10 each. Now, some arenas or groups just don't allow them at all, but most are for that reason, so they can jack up the prices for the ones being sold there.

I would check with the concert venue before risking it...and it's not always the venue's call either. There are many artists who find it very distracting when people in the audience take photos. Another thing to try if you do this waaaaay in advance is to try to contact the artist's management for permission, or the artist themself if not too big of a name. I have a friend who is a band photographer and over the years she's gotten photos of many bands simply by saying "please".

I checked on-line before going to a Kelly Clarkson concert in the Bay Area after I won some tickets on the radio. The radio station said "yes". The arena website said "no". I brought it anyway and did not get caught or have it confiscated.

If posted on your ticket/ at the box office that you can't, then you can't. Alot of venues have metal detectors, so don't try to sneak one in you won't get it back. sneak in a cheap disposable digital camera from a pharmacy , cost $27 Call the box office the ask about their rules.

it usually will say on the ticket "no cameras near the premises" best thing to do is just take it and if you cant bring it in they will just tell you to take it to your car.
