Hi! Don't! You are probably so beautiful and all of us light colored people would love darker skin. Be proud of who you are and that you have a wonderful Indian heritage! See Ya!

If you're in India, then there's always the Fair and Lovely/Fair and Handsome products. I'm in total disagreement with the way Indians are hung up on fair skin color being superior, though, and I completely disagree with it. I say this because I've been to India 4 times. It's time to let go of those old ways of thinking and come into an age of acceptance regarding skin color.

The dark brown skin is not a problem. You can look good with your brown complexion. The thing is how u carry ur self. Do not try different things on ur self to look fair. You must go for the make up that enhance ur natural look. Beauty is always in originality. and never ever hide ur own looks. You will look more decent.

I think she means she's from India... not native.

Anyway, I don't think you should do it, but I will answer your question.
Your local dermatologist will have the best suggestions. There are procedures to lighten skin pigment and they also have bleaching products to continue the process.
Skin lighteners are available at sephora.com, but the dermatologist, though more expensive, is your safest bet and most likely to produce the results you are looking for.
To maintian results, always remember your spf.

Don't go for a fair complexion.Instead try to maintain a healthy and clear complexion. always use a sunscreen when going out. u can also use a face pack twice a week. mix sandalwood powder with milk and a bit of lemon juice and apply on your face. let it dry and then wash off.

Apply Fair and Lovely all over your body three times a day for six weeks. Then sue Hindustan Lever for false advertising.

Why would you want to change your appearance? All Natives have that distinct feature that sets them apart from other cultures. Don't hide your features. Showoff who you are & your heritage.

I'm Native, have dark skin & always get compliments for my Native looks. I also have long hair too.

Do not put lemon juice on your skin! It contains acidic juices which will dry out your face. My advice is to love the skin you`re in.

Remember, the grass is always greener on the other side. :)

Happy Holidays!
